Portia de Rossi - Aussie TV Comedy Star

Portia de Rossi  (b. 31/1/1973) changed her name from Amanda Lee Rogers when she was 15. 

Portia was studying Law and University of Melbourne when she was cast in the movie Sirens in 1993. She shortly after moved to the US and got her big break being case as Nellie Porter in the highly successful TV series Ally McBeal.


Portia wrote her book; Unbearable Lightness: A Story of Loss and Gain to openly discuss coming to terms with her sexuality and her long battle with eating disorders.
